• Hi, I’m using the most current version of this plugin with a new WordPress install on a localhost. I have a couple of related questions about variable products.

First, I am not sure whether to use product parameters or the variations manager to create variable products (such as tee shirts or bed frames). Regardless I tried with both and ran into some errors.

While using product parameters to create variations for the size of a bed frame, the first value I entered for a parameter was replaced with the name “array” and all of the prices I’d entered were set to $0 (Javascript error maybe?). I added one to the cart, and the price was displayed as the parent product’s price + the price of that variation. I then deleted the item from my cart and tried again, but after doing this multiple times, I kept getting a price of $555.21, which is not a multiple of any of the prices I’ve set and I can’t figure out mathematically where that price came from.

I then tried to use the variations manager to set tee shirt variations, and I had the price change for a size XXL tee shirt. The pricing did not change to reflect the increase when this variation is selected (It looks like the variation price / stock can’t override the parent item). When adding many types of tee shirts to the cart, the pricing was not accurate, and all of the variations were merged to be reflected as the parent product in the cart.

Could you let me know if I’m doing something incorrect, or if possibly these are bugs with variable products?
