I’ve placed your Floating Social Bar on this website’s home page. When someone clicks on the FB Like button, the FB panel is visible but under the Testimonials section (z-index). I’ve tried to look for a z-index style or code for the testimonials, but it’s using an element (in-line) style created by the code so I can’t change that. Do you know of a way to get the Facebook panel above the page’s content?

I also tried putting the plugin in other sections, but most if not all the other sections (widgets) are overflow:hidden.

    I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks! Chris

Looks like the issue is with the Testimonials plugin I’m using – (Testimonial Rotator). They’re using z-index on the content. Not sure why that’s necessary though.

So I found that if I gave a z-index of 100 to the class “.fb_edge_widget_with_comment” the Facebook comment box appears over the testimonials – except when the testimonials switch – a testimonial appears over the box for a moment while it’s switching and then goes away. Looks like I’ll have to ask the Testimonial Rotator folks to look into this.

    Hopefully this will help someone.

    Chris.
