   I run the svn of WordPress and recently went from 2.4-bleeding to 2.5-beta1. I forgot to disable all of my plugins (such a huge hassle), and after I did the upgrade, I lost the ability to activate/deactivate plugins. This is the only thing I see:

   Your attempt to deactivate this plugin: "ajaxd-wordpress/aWP.php" has failed.

   Please try again.

   It doesn't matter what the plugin is, they ALL experience this during activate and deactivate. I did notice something curious though. I moved one of the plugin directories to a different name and then the plugin was listed as deactivated then. When I moved the plugin back, nothing changed.

   I have no idea what's causing this. There are no svn conflicts and everything else seems to work. Other plugins seem to work as they should.

   Any ideas?

   I too am having this problem. did you ever find a fix ?
