Display and Link to related Pods

I have set up some bi-directional pods (multiselect). Unfortunately I can’t really figure out how to display (and link to) Pods saved in a relationship field.
I have created a php template file for my theme displaying my pod with different custom fileds using <?php echo pods_field_display(‘podname’, true); ?>, but how do I do this with relationships?
