Dashboard tweaks do not function correctly

The dashboard tweaks do not function as intended. Because /wp-includes/update.php is invoked often, the unscheduling of an event when the “tweak” is enabled forces that event to permanently be listed as needing to be run. This can be verified with Crontrol. I have yet to determine if this has driven some other bad-juju with my cron jobs, but either way it is not optimal.
