    Hi,

    I use the Pilcrow theme and I removed the date and time from the post that serves as my home page at http://www.lisakaborycha.com using the plug-in Date Exclusion SEO and it worked just fine, however a square with a period remains where the date was. Does anyone know how I can remove that?

    Thanks,

    Lisa

  • Hi there, adding this to your Jetpack CSS should get rid of the stray dot:

    .entry-meta {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Thanks once again Kathryn, it worked!

    Lovely! Thanks for letting me know.

    Oh, Kathryn there is another related problem I just noticed.

    There are these little rectangular spaces, just a little more darkly shaded than the background of my site and they appear above many of the images.

    You can see a lot of them on this page: http://www.lisakaborycha.com/1-out-of-the-ashes/ Do you know what’s causing that and how I can get rid of it?

    Thanks,

    Lisa

    Hi Lisa, I’m not sure what you’re referring to as I can’t see these “rectangular spaces” on my end.

    Would you mind taking a screenshot so I can have a look? You can post the screenshot using a free service like http://imgur.com/ or upload it to your media library and then link to it here.

    Could you also let me know what browser (i.e. Firefox, Chrome), version (i.e. 24), and platform (Mac, PC, iPad, etc.) you’re using? If you’re not sure you can find the information by visiting this site: http://supportdetails.com/
