    Getting this error when publishing a post. An addition problem I’m having is comments are not appearing (which may or may not be related):

    This error is being caused by Subscribe2 plugin (checked and double-checked)

    After running tests, it was apparent that the Subscribe2 plugin error was the cause of the comments not displaying.

    Looking forward to a fix – thx

    @dlittle800,

    I don’t see this on any of my sites running with Subscribe2. Did you check for a plugin or theme conflict?

    Yes, when checked themes.

    Original problem was that “Comments were not showing on posts.”

    Switched to WP 2013 theme then deactivated all plugins.
    Then reactivated/deactivated each plugin one at a time and identifed Subscribe2 as causing the error.

    After deactivating Subscribe2, error no longer happened.

    But, then we noticed an additional issue with the “IM8 Box Hide” plugin that was not letting “Authors” comments to display.

    Don’t have time right now to see if these two plugins conflict. Have deleted IM8 Box Hide and deactivated Subscribe2.

    Still hoping to use Subscribe2, can do without IM8 Box Hide.

    Thx

    @dlittle800,

    If you get change to look at Subscribe2 again try installing a fresh copy to make sure one of the files isn’t corrupt.

    Also, in Subscribe2->Settings under the Registered Users tab make sure the settings where it says “Display checkbox to allow subscriptions from the comment form:” is set to No. See if it works then.

    Great!

    That appeared to have worked!

    PLEASE NOTE:

    The following feature does not appear to be working.

    On the notification Settings page….
    “Select all/Unselect all”

    Does not select all or unselect all.
    (even after clicking the update button)

    @dlittle800,

    I suspect that you have a JavaScript conflict on you admin pages. Are there any errors showing in your browser console. Again, this is not something I am seeing.

    Error is appearing again on save. Don’t have time to figure this out – deactivating. Thx

    @dlittle800,

    That sort of error is due to characters having been sent before the main output starts. Usually errors or white space. Sadly they take a lot of time to track down.
