    Hi everyone,

Up until yesterday everything was running fine on my blog. I tried to submit a new post using Windows Live Writer and received an error. As part of troubleshooting that error in this thread, I disabled my plugins temporarily.

After re-enabling plugins, I now get this error when I try to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com:

Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site http://nottinghamknitter.co.uk/blog [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed Empty reply from server]

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this, please? I assume the two problems are probably rooted in the same cause, but I thought posting against Jetpack as well might help get it sorted more quickly.

    Many thanks in advance!
