• I would love to achieve that king of hierarchy when looking at product link:

    http://www.mywebsite.com/shop/product-category-name/product-name

    Yet, no matter what I try in the Settings/Permalinks/Product permalink base – nothing works, only results in 404 all over the place.

    ‘Shop base with category’ is the one I would love to make work, but no success so far 🙁

    Any tips?

    anyone?

    Hello guys,

    Custom structure for permalinks:
    /%category%/%postname%/

    Optional -> Product category base:
    product-category

    Optional -> Product tag base:
    product-tag

    Product permalink base -> Custom Base:
    /shop/%product_cat%

    Also remember for pretty permalinks to work you need to have mod_rewrite enabled.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Julius123, still now working as I want it to 🙁

    Works fine as long as I don’t touch ‘Product category base’ and I want it to be simply ‘shop’ not ‘product-category’.

    I suppose I can’t use ‘shop’ as a base in settings there because the actual shop page is ‘shop’ as well?

    hmm…
