Featured Slider problem with 3.6.1

    Hello, Since updating my website to 3.6.1 my Featured Slider does not function properly. It is as if WordPress is over riding my theme options causing the Featured Slider to not show the correct content and number of slides.
    I am using the Organic Magazine Theme V 3.1.6, It should show 4 slide and be showing newest post first, but instead its showing 5 slides and not in the correct order with the last slide blank and the 4th slide the newest post.
    I can make the Featured Slider work correctly by using the Compatibility view on IE. This problem has only come apparent since 3.6.1 when using 3.6 there was no such problem.

    Have you asked Organic Themse for help with this? They generally provide good support for their commercial themes.

    You could also try deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing this problem.

    It is certainly a JS problem related with the new JQery version provided in WP v3.6 and after. What you should do is replacing your current /wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/jquery.ui.tabs.min.js by the one provided in your previous WordPress version. In my case, I come from WP v3.4.1 and its jquery.ui.tabs.min.js works seamlesly. Good luck!

    Thanks WPyogi and alectotu for the reply’s. I did try deactivating my plugins to see if any were causing this problem but it turned out not to be.
    I have not got in contact with Organic Themes yet but will give alectotu’s solution a try first when I get back in the country, which I am hoping will work.
    I will let you know if it solves the problem.

    Hello guys, tried alectotu’s solution and unfortunately the same problem persisted. So for now I have rolled back to 3.5.2 which my theme works well on till I can get it solved with Organic Themes.
