Customize toolbar for subsites only on multisite install

    i’m trying to customize the toolbar (at top) for subsites only without impacting any other user. i don’t want my subsite users to see everything, i only want them to see certain things so they don’t get confused.
    trying to avoid coding, so is there a plugin to do that?

    started using a plugin called Adminimize, which solved some of the problem.
    on the main subsite page, i can delete what i need (most of it anyways. but as soon as i am on the dashboard of the subsite, all the menu options in the toolbar that i had deleted, reappear. not sure why
