I'm new to wordpress. In the wp-config.php file, I've put a database_name but I still haven't created a database... I believe that is the reason the "Error establishing a database connection" occurs when running wp-admin/install.php. I created a new username and password, but I believe that it is not the problem.
How can I create a new database? Can you send me a database file example?
    Thanks
    Rodrigo

You need to do some urgent reading!
Database is not a file, and you cannot put a "database name" if you didn't create it before. How do you know its name if it doesn't exist? It just doesn't make sense...
    So, start reading the manual:

moshu, thanks for quickness to respond. I've read the Step 2: Create the Database and a User from http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress but it really doesn't make sense for me...
There is a simple way to explain how to create a new database?
    Thanks
    Rodrigo

There is never a simple way, sorry. That's the simplest as it is written in the Codex.
This is not really a WP issue. It is some basic knowledge what do to in your host's administration panel. Ask them how to create a database at your host. Maybe they have some FAQ or tutorials.
