   Does anyone know the source to find a consultant to help me make my site more efficient and "bullet-proof?"

   I've tried nearly all tweaks so far.
   WP-Cache
   eAccelerator (php)
   Varnish (http proxy)
   Plugin output cache
   PHP_Speedy

   My site runs slow, and MySQL just taps my server (which is a dedicated 2GB Xeon)

   I think I need some Database tuning, possibly even custom work.. not sure. I'm lost as to why it's so slow.

   Site gets between 1-2MM pageviews per month.

   Please help guide me in the right direction. I've tried several times get some direct help here to no avail.

   Hi SouthBeach030,

   Here are some ideas:

   1. Optimize your WordPress tables (a post from my WordPress Expert blog).
   2. Read the WordPress Optimization Codex article.
   3. As a last resort, you could also try reformatting WordPress.

   Also, this speed-test tool might be of help.

   Lot of WordPress Consultants can be found in this list. I also offer offer WordPress Consulting and have dealt with speed issue in the past.
