Separating Comments & Trackbacks

The default comment list – with comments and track/pingbacks all mixed up together – is impossible to read as a conversation, and often looks pretty damned messy.

I’d like to separate comments and track/pingbacks, to have one column with only comments, and a separate column with only track/pingbacks.

I’m no PHP pro, so I’d appreciate it if some wiz out there could give me some clear and simple tips, maybe even a code snippet? Thanks!
