Do you have a database backup (made prior to the dissapearance of posts)? Try asking your host. They should have one and they can restore it.
Looks like you are hacked. What’s your site URL?
Do you have a backup of your site that’s of a date before the posts went missing?
Thanks. I figured I was hacked. *Angry!*
I thought I had a back-up, but it was an old one. I will try to ask my host if they can restore it.
The url is http://www.mysimpleways.com
Thank you, Krishna, I will take a look.
I have installed Wordefense plugin, and it has not found any weirdness after running a scan. Is it enough or I should do the scan manuelly on my own?
Just to rule out any plugin or theme specific issues, please, deactivate all your plugins and switch to the Twenty Twelve theme.
EDIT: Sucuri says that your site is clean
I did do that step switching off and on all my plugins and to Twenty Twelve theme, but there was no difference.
Thank you, Media X. That’s what I thought since I couldn’t find anythings that have changed besides my pages and posts went missing.
When I was going to delete the subscriber, I had an option asking if I want all posts direct to me. Since I didn’t think that subscriber had any posts (not that I could see either), I chose no. It was a few days afterwards I found out my posts went missing.
I can see I have 44 posts and 21 pages on the Dashboard, but when I click on posts or pages, I have only 12 posts and 3 pages on the list.
Does it make any sense?
