    I am using the Oxygen Theme for WordPress 3.6.1
    I am a little confused as to why it is compressing my main column into such a confined space. As if the right sidebar was active in some way and the featured post, or posts are limited to that wight only. But, there is nothing configured for a right side bar. And no matter what I add there in the center column it wont use the full size of the front page. It’s sort of stuck to that wight.
    Help?

    It is a hosted site.

    Thanks in advance.
    Good day, to everyone.

  • There’s really no way to help with something like this without seeing your actual site.

    Hi, WPyogi.

    (I really shouldn’t share the link. But I can always remove it once the issue is resolved. This is some work I am doing for someone else.)

    Thanks for replying.

    @mr-szandor If that’s the case, remove the site url now, while you still can edit it.

    To my knowledge, there is no policy to remove the link, once posted here.

    Yes, paulwpxp is correct –

    I can always remove it once the issue is resolved.

    I just looked at your site, and I’m not sure the theme is set up to do what you want – but, you may be able to modify the CSS – try adding this to custom CSS:

    .home #content {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Pardon my ignorance, WPyogi. But do you mean the Style.CSS?
    I added it to the Style CSS and it doesnt seem to make any changes.
    Again, I might not have understood where exactly the code goes.

    Sorry, I should have been more explicit – you actually should avoid modifying any theme files – as those changes will be lost when the theme is updated. If the theme doesn’t have a custom CSS option, you can easily add that via a plugin like:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/

    Then add the code there. Be sure to clear your browser cache after making changes.

    aahh… thanks, I actually did try putting the code on some of the CSS editors and kindda took the whole site down. It’s back up now. LOL
    Custom CSS Manager.
    Installed.
    Added the code.
    Works like a charm.
    See the changes for yourself.
    Thank you very much, WPyogi.

    You’re certainly welcome :)! It looks great!
