    Good Day,

    I am a new poster.

Writing to ask you help about the following:

Create widget to link Facebook, Twitter to WP Site.

Here is an example of site that has succeeded in linking up the WP site with Facebook. The “Share” widget on the right side.

    How was this quickly achieved?

    Thank you.

    Hi GF,

    thank you for your reply.

I added Simple Share Buttons to my plug ins.

    Simple Share Buttons Adder
    Settings | Deactivate | Edit
A simple plugin that enables you to add share buttons to all of your posts and/or pages.
Version 3.1 | By David S. Neal | Visit plugin site.

I activated, selected settings I wanted, pressed save and then, “see how it looks” – nothing showed up on my home page, (that’s where I set it to show up n stttings) or any ohter page.

Have I missed a step? It seems there’s some step after installing a plug in and before seeing the results live on the page?

    thanks,

    Lisa

I got the Simple Share Buttons to appear on my main page. Like it says, these are “share” buttons. I’m catching on.

I think what I’m really looking for is what plug in was used so page viewers can click oncc and go to the Facebook event page?

Is there a separate plug in being used for the Facebook event page for this example site?

I get major SPAM problems with David S. Neal’s simple share buttons. The LinkedIN text box fills with SPAM at my website (www.retainingwallfailures.com). Also, the buttons will not resize. They are way too big and won’t get smaller no matter what I do. Any thoughts?

I’d suggest posting in the forum for that plugin if you want to use it:

    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/simple-share-buttons-adder#postform

    Or finding another plugin.

In any case, this thread is way outdated and a different question, so not a good place to post.

    thanks!
