The latest update made WordPress display 404 errors for all the pages on the site. BuddyPress and blog posts functioned correctly. This is an awesome plugin! We miss it as we have had to deactivate for the basic functions of the site to operate correctly.

Any idea why it may have done this?

  • Try resetting your permalinks.

    ^ that.

Which version did you upgrade from, and which version did you upgrade to?
First report I’ve had of this so will be interesting to see if we can figure out why.

As it turns out, I was using an older version of the plugin. The most recent update with the leaderboard has fixed the issue! We are so happy to see it live! This is an excellent plugin and a very important part of our strategy.

Glad to hear it! And that kind of makes sense.

I made a mistake back in the 3.3 release (I think it was 3.3) where I didn’t reset the permalinks during the upgrade, and this would cause the problem you’ve ran into here.

For 3.4, I made sure to handle the permalinks on upgrade correctly. 🙂
