To display a preview image inside the JW FLV Media Player (used for playback flv files), please use flashvars: f={image=…}.
The preview={} code is used for Flashbox only.
Hi
the plug in works well though I have probelms getting an image on to the blog and in the player when using the flash box. You can see the rresults on http://www.marketbytes.com Also the fullscreen does not work. Any ideas? I have had good success with the flv player and thickbox outside of Wp and you have done a great job but to get it sorted I need an image.
The code presenly is .
[flash http://camtasia.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Introtest.flv w=600 h=500 preview=force mode=3 f={image=http://media.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Images/MB_410x380.jpg&logo=http://media.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Images/MB_410x380.jpg&overstretch=true&usefullscreen=true}]
Fullscreen works for me on your site on IE7 and FF2 (MBTV Demo).
This code actually works…
[flash http://camtasia.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Introtest.flv w=600 h=500 preview=force mode=3 preview={http://media.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Images/MB_410x380.jpg|410|380} f={image=http://media.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Images/MB_410x380.jpg&logo=http://media.mdsmarkets.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Images/MB_410x380.jpg&overstretch=true&usefullscreen=true}]
…but it doesn’t because WordPress changes ‘x’ to the HTML code of the multiplication character ‘x’ instead of leaving the alphabetic one – this is because of the digits before and after it.
I suggest to rename the images’ filenames and wait for a plugin update. Last one could take some days/a week as of I concentrate on the media manager at the moment.
p.s.: I should change some paragraphs in the readme file regarding some new features :).
Hi, I’m trying to use this plug in…should this work?
[flash http://swaho.s3.amazonaws.com/media/doctordoctor.flv%5D
cause it’s not working and I’m not sure why.
The plugin is activated…you can see the page here:
http://simple-work-at-home-opportunity.com/blog/index.php/looking-for-business-partners/
code is at the bottom of the page.
any help would be appreciated.
yippee..it works…never mind.
i added my video link under “manage media” and then used:
[flash medium=1]
instead and it worked like a charm.
thank you whoever wrote this plugin!
kk. But I wonder why it does not work the “normal” way oO…
