I know there is themeSwitcher: http://dev.wp-plugins.org/wiki/ThemeSwitcher . This plugin allows you to change the entire theme of the website. I would like that when a user clicks on a particular link of my page it would take you to the wordpress default theme. This would be like a separate blog. Is this possible? thanks.

Not really. Since the plugin is cookie based... from that moment on the visitor would se any page on your blog with the default theme until is able to click the themeswitcher.

I don't really know a solution for the "blog within a blog". Masybe another install in a subfolder? I am just guessing because I have no idea what is your final goal...

We have a section in our page and want to change the look and feel of only that section. That is the final goal. For example in this page if we were to click below at lets say REPORT A SIT BUG I would like it to look with a red background, bold fonts, etc... I hope you got my example. thanks!

I am trying to follow you... although using the same language/terminology would help tremendously :)

I assume when you say "our page" - you mean "our site". Right?
If that's true, then what is the "section"? A folder? A file? a WP post? a WP Page? or what...?

I see now. So if want the page to look different I must include the html & css at arc-cont.php? I'm a little confused. thanks

In a Page template (being a php file) you can put in whatever you want, but I'd use only html. Leave the CSS for the stylesheet. Then you create a new Page using that template. It's that simple.

Is there a way to connect this template to point to the default theme? or this is not possible in wordpress?

You are obsessed with the default theme... Why do you need that?

A template file lives in the theme that is in use. It does NOT point anywhere. It displays its content according to the html and the template tags in it.

Is not obsession! :) Is my boss desire to have it this way. So in conclusion: It is NOT possible to do this?
    Thanks moshu..

It is either I cannot understand what you/theboss want, or you cannot explain it. Sorry.

Idiotic bosses shouldn't have a say in website design ;)
Everybody should stick to their job description, even bosses...
