Extend orderby to menu_order

    Hello,
    Thank you very much for the plugin.

    I would like to add for further versions the following line (after line 419)
    <option value="menu_order" <?php selected( get_post_meta($item_id, "cpcm-orderby", true), "menu_order" ) ?>><?php _e('Menu Order'); ?></option>

    So that it become possible to use this needfull plug in combination with the “Simple Custom Post Order”

    Hi distrait,

    thank you for your suggestion.
    However, I will need to test this first, so please bear with me, it will be a short while before I am able to do some development again.

    I’d need to figure out if this option makes sense even if the SCPO plugin is not installed.

    Thanks, distrait! This simple addition made the plugin ideal. This should definitely get added to next release. This functionality is needed for any post type that supports ‘page-attributes’.

    Hi Diana,
    a third recommendation for this simple addition.
    I agree with swinggraphics that this is NOT just for use in conjunction with another plugin. Any post type that supports ‘page attributes’ and a custom page order would benefit from this simple addition to the plugin.

    Hi all,

    I’ve just checked in this addition to the Development Version and briefly tested it. Will do some more testing before releasing the next version, while I also await some feedback on another support topic.

    If you like, you can grab the Development Version on the ‘Developers’ page. Under ‘Other Versions’ choose ‘Development Version’.
