adding white space between text and headers

    I’ve heard that adding white space in between your regular text and your headers <h2>, <h3>, etc. can be done in style.css. Can someone please explain to me how I can go about acheiving this?

    h1, h2, h3 etc. are not headers but headings.
    Google for “styling headings with css” or similar keywords.

    This is not a WP-specific question. It is general CSS.
