Hello,
I recently imported my old wordpress blog onto a new domain, and while doing that I switched to the Nishita wordpress theme for photoblogs.
The archive page is very important for my site ( http://www.madnessmatrix.com/ ), however I have serious formatting problems with my archive which can be seen here: http://www.madnessmatrix.com/archives/
The thumbnails do not show up, and the text is very misaligned. I installed the requisite custom character string (reloaded version that is compatible with 2.3.3) but to no avail.
Any help available?

Hi Eric,
I love your site - can you tell me how you solved the thumbnail problem?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I had to go back and manually edit every single old post to place the thumbnail html code in the "post excerpt" field. Haha. It must have taken me a good three or four hours. Sorry I can't bear better news on this...

I still can't get the thumbnails to show on my Archive page. I'm inserting:
<img src="http://www.hang-out.co.uk/potd/wp-content/uploads/images/2008_12_04_tn.jpg" alt="wet runner" />
into the Excerpt field, but I get "Sorry no image available".
What's the correct code please?

I see you have fixed the code to display images.....what was the solution?

I'm using the EXZO plugin to display the exif data below the image, and in that mode the archive thumbnails are displayed properly.
However, EXZO is primarily designed to allow the viewer to zoom into the image. When I set it up in that mode (see the photo for 2008-11-28 "models on an escalator"), the archive thumbnails are not displayed. That's what I'm trying to sort out...

Eric--I just moved mine to a new web address as well and now all my archived photos are not showing up. Did you ever figure out how to fix it? Sh*t. :/

My workround is to insert the image in the post with a width of 1 pixel. It then shows up in the Archive.
<img src="http://www.hang-out.co.uk/potd/wp-content/uploads/images/2008_12_29.jpg" width=1 />
Hope this helps,
Chris
