Image Media Search Doesn't Work For Me – No Result

    I have looked this up over and over and over again and I can’t find a single solution. I’ve asked a couple of friends about it who run blogs and they had no idea why it’s not working for me either.

    When I want to insert an image into a new post the search function does not work at all. Every single time I try searching for one of my picture names it just comes up with “no result” but I know it’s there and I know I’m searching under the proper name. I’ve tried everything.

    I can view the images fine in the library and select from them but I’ve built up enough of a library that a working search function would be really nice.

    It doesn’t work for either my blog at http://germaximusvideogameworld.wordpress.com/ or my website at http://gameversevault.com/.

    I had posted this before but I’m not seeing it in my profile and it never got solved. I’ve also tried searching for different media plugins and I found something called “Media Search” but that didn’t work either.
    Please, please help!

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Okay so I switched to Twenty Thirteen and the search works fine.
    I tried this on my wordpress personal blog. Then I switched back to the theme I had selected “iTheme 2” and the search worked fine again. So I guess it reset something maybe?

    However on my actual website switching themes didn’t have the same effect. I got image results in Twenty Thirteen but when I changed back to Theme1488 the media search goes back to not working again.

    These are the plugins I have installed if that helps.

    deactivate them 1 by 1 and test the search while each is off.

    at a guess it might be Better Internal Link Search

    Thanks. I just did all that. And then I remembered that I had this issue before I had installed any plugins that weren’t already included in the site by default.

    This really sucks. Every day I’m adding more and more images. Oh well.

    Sorry Pyogi. My friend that bought the theme hasn’t answered me yet on that.
