not able to embed category download link in post/page

hey,
I not able to embed category with the shortcode.
the result displayed this on post/page:
{wpdm_category=test}
I tryed it in the editor in visual mode and in text mode, same result.
NB : test is a galerie and there are few pictures linked to it.
Can you help please?
