I would like to know how the page analysis could recognize the featured image since in my theme I use the featured image to display it in my template.

Is it possible or I will have to add the image in the content?

My theme did the same thing. If I insert the same image into the post content, my site would be slow down with too many images. http://www.discountcouponsave.com/fuel-saving-tips/

If the featured images are not recognized by Yoast, would it affect the SEO? If not, can we just let it be.
