A friend of mine just reported that when she tried to comment on my blog, the comment never appeared anywhere. I then tried to post a test comment myself and the same thing happened (specifically, the “submitting comment” text appears, then the comment doesn’t appear at all after that). Since last I checked, any comment should be approved for posting provided the user enters their name and email address (or their Fbook info). Only comments with a bunch of links in them are supposed to be held for moderation.
I’ve noticed this exact same issue being reported by multiple users in the last few days alone. In many cases it seems to be a theme issue. My theme is the BBQ theme from NiceThemes.
I don’t expect to be overwhelmed with comments anytime soon, but it’d be nice if users/followers could post them once in a while, as opposed to not at all. So any help would be greatly appreciated!
