   Hi there,

   This is my first post (I can't believe I nearly got through my whole design without asking a question :)).

   I am not really sure how to describe my problem, but here goes: I have created 4 pages called - for example - about, services, portfolio & contact. These names are generated in the menu using the 'wp_list_pages' tag, the same names are also auto-created in the loop using 'the_title'.

   Now I would like my menu names to be different to my page names. How do I do that? Is there a plugin available or any hard-coding?

   Not like this...
   "menu" is a very vague notion. In my menu I might not have Pages at all... so maybe I have no idea what are you talking about.
   Give more details or code or link.

   And no, with usual WP template tags you can not change the title of the Pages. As for hardcoding... you can always hardcode whatever you want.
