  • Yeah, same here.

    .wp-menu-image:before{content:’\f111′;}
    in /plugins/mp6/css/wp-admin.css on line 1086 may be the culprit.

    MP6 also overrides my CPT icons set via css.

    Hiya,

    Sorry about that. One of the big 2.0 features of MP6 was color schemes, and we (especially Till Krüss and Kelly Dwan) have been working super hard on getting third party SVG icons to pick up the color of the color schemes.

    The ability to use PNG icons, old-style, broke along the way. I have fixed this in trunk, so with the next release of MP6, PNG icons will no longer show up as a gear icon, but will in fact once again show up as intended.

    We still encourage plugin devs to provide an SVG icon (or use a Dashicon) though. Instructions are here, and the benefits include:

    – will fit with the color-simplified admin
    – will pick up color theme colors
    – instantly retina ready
    – scales much nicer when the mobile responsive styles are invoked
    – low-vision (or super high vision) users can zoom in (or out) and the icons will stay crisp

    @joen thanks for the heads up. I figured that the team modified it, but I didn’t know why, so I’m stoked to see an answer so quickly. I’m using mp6 as the admin styler in my CRM plugin and I love it. You all have done an amazing job with the flat UI, while still keeping it sexy…especially with the new color schemes ( the blue one and the teal one are bad to the bone ).
