URL Discrepancy

    Hi,

    I’m wondering what to do about the URL discrepancy I’m currently experiencing in my sitemap.

    I built the site at subdomain.mydomain.com/version1/, and the main domain is obviously mydomain.com. so I’ve the dns pointing to the site files.

    my site map shows correctly at subdomain.mydomain.com/version1/sitemap.xml, however doesn’t show anything at mydomain.com/sitemap.xml.

    why would that be and how do I change it?

    Also, on the site may all the urls show the subdomain url and not the main domain, and I’m worried this will effect the SEO.
