    After you installed WordPress, you should not move the wp-config.php to any other location. I never tried, but I think it will cause error if the file is not in the place where you installed it.

    My suggestion is you should a backup both .htaccess file and wp-config.php to your local computer. In many cases if some wrong configurations break your website or you can’t login, you may able to fix it simply by restoring the files.
