• Hi everyone !
first of all, excuse my awkward english , i’m from france !

I installed a wordpress blog a few months ago, which yyou can vistit here : Oxygene !

    I currently run on version 2.3.2, with the 2.3.3 xmlrpc.php !

My problem is quite simple: It simply can’t load with IE … I get an “operation aborted” error, which is quite annoying for all my ‘IE’ visitors (aboute 55% ) …

I know that the problem seems to come from a misplaced Javascript, but I don’t use any, and I just can’t find it …

Here is a list of all the plugins I use :
    Akismet
    All in One SEO Pack
    cforms II
    Counterize II
    Exec-PHP
    Google XML Sitemaps
    Last.Fm Records
NextGEN Gallery & NextGEN Gallery Widget
    Simple Spoiler Enhanced
    Slimbox Plugin
    TinyMCE Advanced
    Wordpress Gravatars
    WP Navigation Tool (NAVT)

    All up-to-date …

When the problem occurs, the very last piece of code loaded is my sidebar Blogroll !

If you have an answer, please provide it 😉 !

  • I can’t replicate the error, but here are some thoughts:

Your JS appears not to trigger any errors in my browser. However, you do have several validation errors. Several are related to your flash embedding.

If you are correct that the problem arises as a result of something in your sidebar, I suggest removing all widgets from your sidebar (especially the ones that display flash or images) and seeing whether the problem goes away. Then, restore the widgets one at a time.

the problem is that the sidebar works absolutely fine on other pages …
I know about the validation errors … I’ll try a Xhtlm valid plugin then 😉 … Well’ see !

It’s the slimbox plugin. I had the same exact problem, and in IE only
