High CPU time while backup | WordPress.org

Hi, after updating WPB2D to 1.6.1 version, in WordPress 3.5.2, I’ve received a message from my hosting (Hostgator) to advise me for a high CPU usage while running wp-cron.php
With the previous version of the plugin was OK.
Is there any issue between 1.6.1 version and WP 3.5.2?

Nothing has changed in the backup process in a very long time.

So this could be because you are processing more files or maybe just a one of CPU spike.
