You can change those back – see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
You’ll need to use FTP or phpMyAdmin to do so.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_option() in /home/content/83/7280083/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2 this is the error i am now getting
Do you have access to your FTP? If yes, then go to the wp directory and try to edit the functions.php file on line 2. Error must be there.
doesn’t exist? I am looking for that file through file zilla and there is nothing that says functions
Looks like you changed the wrong functions file? It’s the one in your theme that you need to use.
this sucks as I am not a programmer and don’t know where to look or find this stuff. I have NO clue what theme I am using. Can i give someone my password and username and have them fix it? Please.
Thanks
Chad
/home/content/83/7280083/html/wp-includes/functions.php if this is the error giving file, you should edit it.
And navigate to your blog’s ftp there go to html/wp-content/themes/ (your current theme )
And post the code of the error giving file, maybe one of us can help.
Uggh…this is frustrating. I am going to eff something up. I don’t know what the hell i did
550 Can’t change directory to /home/content/83/7280083/html/wp-includes/functions.php: No such file or directory
I fixed that error but now i cant log into my blog…it just sticks at the above mentioned link
Sorry I had to go to bed last night.
You need to carefully read and follow one of the approaches in the link I first posted:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
I’d suggest using the functions.php file method – in which case, look for that file here:
wp-content
themes
infoist (LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE THEME YOU ARE USING)
functions.php
