how did you feed to a static html? Javascript?
I redid the htaccess file to recognize the php code in a html page.
Then I put a php code in the top of the html to point to the database.
After that it was just making multiple catagory calls with the loop.
I can explain in more detail if you like.

biggest reason? Static pages RANK higher and better than dynamic…. search engines believe them to hold more credit than what could be viewed as ‘revolving content’….
question for magic: When your page is updated, as in new article written- do you retain a ‘hard’, as in static copy of your previous version somewhere on your server or is it trashed?
and yes- please PM me how you did it! I gotz quite an idea spawning from this!

Lets say we have ten posts for a cat, they show up on the html page 1-10. When a new post is submitted and approved in the cat on wordpress it then becomes number one on the html page.
now we have 11 posts.
Number 11 drops off of the center of the page and becomes a link in the left menu bar of the html page.
after 35 posts they are all posted in the archives on the right side of the page and kept indefinately.
Also I might mention it is instant post = instant update which means fresh/new html page content.
