   I got this while setting up WP, just after submitting my email.

   Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_filter_post_kses() in /home/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1200

   Any ideas?

   wp_filter_post_kses() is a function defined in the kses.php document under the wp-includes directory. Did you upload this file, the file is not zero bytes in size, not corrupted by the upload, etc.?

   Yes, the kses.php file had uploaded with nothing in it (0 bytes).

   If you could answer one more question... how do I login? I'm not sure I got to that step in the setup before the error. Should I re-install?

   Does WordPress let you step through the install? That is, if you go to wp-admin/install.php are you still seeing the initial install page? You won't if the install 'took.'

   EDIT: Ah, good to hear. Welcome to this WordPress thing. ;)
