Well this is the second time this month that I've had some viral problem with my test address for my blog in development.
It seems to be something that targets the Cache. In C:\Documents and Settings\Me\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, a directory appears every time I open my blog to view it. It is (excuse the language): 9opf62n6.FUCK OFF
In this directory there is the same file, which appears each time I try to click the back button. This is apparently a virus, and AVG cannot fix or identify it.
I've searched on this one and can find nothing.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Anything I can do? I've contacted my web host.
And.. how do you make a blog more secure using CHMOD? Whenever I try to reduce the permissions, it stops me from being able to do anything from the control panel.
I don't feel like my blog is safe to go live yet until these attacks die down...
