How to center and re-scale my images?

I am attempting to add images to my “work” section using the Folder theme (by Luis Zuno), but my images are not scaling to fit the width of the single-column template. In addition, the whenever a new work-page is generated, there is a header-image on the demo site, but it does not appear on mine (although I feature an image). Also, the header font (Danny + Baothy) is not aligned, so I’m assuming I’m missing some css style in my code.
