    Hi

I have not been able to log in to my site http://www.livmedlitteratur.dk since I last updated. I got this message:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hsphere/local/home/malenesp/livmedlitteratur.dk/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

I have already read some other posts on this issue, but I really do not know how to fix it. I have tried to get help in this forum already, but I did not get any responses.

    Best regards, Malene

  • I have been getting this error as well after logging into my website. I deleted the plugin folder and the advanced-cache.php file in the wp-content folder.

This is was my second install of this plugin as i thought it might have been fixed by now.

    update
I see the plugin is only compatible up to WordPress 3.5.2.
    I upgraded to WordPress 3.6.

    Hi

    Thanks for answering 🙂

But how do I delete the plugin folder when I can’t login? Or update WordPress?

If you have access to your hosting account, you can use the File Manager.
If you have FTP, and can connect to the site, you can delete it with FTP.
