Nextgen gallery, when activated, is making my scripts not work!

When I have NextGen gallery activated, my testimonials dont scroll, my accordion doesnt work on the front page, on the product page my tabs dont function either. What kind of conflict would cause nextgen to turn off various CSS scripts?
