Theme is dropping HTML

    Hi-newbie here. I’m trying to add some script to Responsive Pro through Responsive Pro Options>Homepage>Content Area (not the regular homepage because of customization). I add all my html code, which is tested and validated, but i get back a jumble of list, not the search/dropdown box i made.
    When I relook at what I put in the content area, most of the html is stripped. It’s been a week and CyberChimps is almost useless, so I figured I’d ask the broader WP community.
    A developer suggested a script running on te page preventing my script. Is there a workaround? I really don’t want to have to tear down and go with another theme…..
