• I believe there is a serious problem with one of the last releases, moving back to v0.9.2.1 did solve the problem (for now).

Also, I needed to re-save “Permalink Setting for custom post type”. Is it possible that the plugin changed this setting? Or that there is a conflicting plugin? I have no error messages, only behaviour…

    I have three pages:
    – jobs
    – agenda
    – hard-work

These refer to page-jobs.php, page-agenda.php, and page-hard-work.php. Sometimes the last one is not working, it goes to index.php saying that the page could not be found (yeah, it’s refering to the wrong template). So, there must be something wrong with the permalink – template connection.

Can it be the ‘-‘ character in /hard-work/?

I have no error messages, and would love to help if possible.

  • I have a similar issue since doing the update this morning.

I have the following site structure:

    ROOT-URL
    ROOT-URL/services/ (page)
    ROOT-URL/projects/ (page)
    ROOT-URL/contact-us/ (page)

    and here is the issue:

    I have a custom post-type called portfolio
I had set in the plugin settings (before update):

    portfolio: ROOT-URL/projects /%tagportifolio%/%postname%/
    Which sets URLs like this
    ROOT-URL/projects/project-type/project-name/
These URL work perfect still … but now, my “projects” page isn’t working anymore. It displays it’s content as an archive of “projects”

So I guess the rewrite rules that “projects” when alone in the URL is part of the custom post type and no more a stand alone page.

Note: in common settings, I’ve set the following ROOT_URL/sample-post/ (default thing)

    How can I fix that?
    Thanks ahead for helping troubleshoot.

PS: I tried to change the slug of that “projects” page into “project” and it fixed the issue which confirms that rewrite issue… I guess. Hope this additional info helps.

    PS2: I had no issue on 9.2.1

I’m happy to know that I’m not alone with this issue. I also tried to change a thing, namely the name of the page inside the theme directory (and in WP). That is, page-hard-work.php to page-hardwork.php (and in WP to make sure the page connects with the file) and then it did work… of course I don’t like this solution thus I use an older version of the plugin.

24hr later the website is still working – with v9.2.1. So I’m pretty sure that it must be this plugin… Or it must be one of the related plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields or MoreTypes, maybe they changed something too?

Nevertheless, Custom Post Type Permalinks v9.2.1 does work and the new one not.

Yeah, I switched back to 9.2.1 for now, will see what the dev can help us out with here. 🙂

Same problem here. The only solution was to rollback to v0.9.2.1. The solution posted from Toro_Unit unfortunately was not enough.

Thanks for your time and for this great plugin!
