LinkedIn isn't pulling images from my blog correctly

When you post on LinkedIn to share a link, it pulls the title and an imagine from the blog post.

My word press blog doesn’t have images in the post, but it does have a “featured image” that can be seen on the main page and blog page.

Any way to set it so LinkedIn can pull that info? or must I actually embed the image into the blog post itself?

I tested other blogs and LinkedIn does it automatically so it’s not a problem with how I’m posting on LinkedIn. It’s an issue with how my blog is set up.
