Since WordPress 3.6, various snags & issues

    I see a number of “1 and done” support threads related to post-3.6 updating and how Easy FancyBox is not working properly for many. Here’s one more thread as such:
    – had a site render as blank-white with no Errors showing in the error log… disabled plugins, starting with Easy Fancybox and the site was back to visible again immediately.
    – had a second site have its paid Soliloquy slider/image plugin become uneditable… it too worked perfectly once Easy Fancybox was Disabled — will now be considering Soliloquy’s built-in Add-On called “Lightbox” if I need to use a similar feature in the future.

    To replace the first site’s errant plugin use, I downloaded and installed FancyBox For WordPress, and it accomplishes the same lightbox feature on the site without the “snow screen of death”… won’t be going back to Easy FancyBox anytime soon, it appears. :-/

    Too bad I cannot reproduce these issues. And without any errors from logs or other, I have nothing to go on 🙁

    Theme or plugin related – just try it with all plugins disabled or on fresh instal of wordpress

    Went with a different plugin that works.
    And, ‘eldenroot’, in my initial post I *did* disable plugins and found E.F. to be the plugin causing issues. ^
