  • Hi madjugoyal,

It looks like this is fixed now. My guess would be that WPSuperCache cached a page which included the ‘scoped’ attribute on the inline CSS that Meta Slider outputs. This is usually removed for people using FireFox (as FireFox doesn’t seem to like it).

I’ll try and work out a JavaScript solution to removing the scoped attribute so that the functionality is unaffected by caching plugins.

    Tom

i don’t know why my NZ domain is diverting to my australian website and it is happening only on Firefox .And even if i click on Visit PayAsYouRate NZ.It still remains on the same page.I know this is not slider query but i can’t check if it is happening on there as well

    Thanks

    Hi madhugoyal,

Please try downloading the development version of Meta Slider from this page: http://wordpress.org/plugins/ml-slider/developers/

You’ll need to unzip it and replace the /wp-content/plugins/ml-slider folder on your server.

After that, make sure your caches are 100% clear – WP Super Cache is hard to disable from what I’ve heard – even when deactivated it can still serve pages from the cache. You’ll know if it’s cached because there will be a ‘generated by WP Super Cache’ comment at the bottom of the page in the HTML.

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
Sorry to bother you again.WP super Cache is regenerating cache pages after few hours and sliders does the same thing take time to load and then i go to admin delete cache and then it works fine.
Can you let me know what to do now.
    Thanks

In the past couple of days I have had issues with this as well. Grabbing the latest dev version (as opposed to 2.2.2) from that page worked like a charm.

Thanks. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I just wanted to add that last week I experienced some of the same issues with 2.2.2 mentioned above, and upgraded to the dev version at Tom’s recommendation. Tom, the Chrome and Firefox issues have subsided by-and-large, but we’re still seeing weird behavior (bullet nav showing as ordered lists) and slow loading in IE.

    Hi Tom (or anyone else),

I’m really hoping you can help.

I have a slider next an image which appears fine in Chrome, but smaller in Firefox and IE. How can I fix this in Firefox and IE?

    My site: http://moviesafari.com/

    Thanks a bundle.

    Amar

    Hi,

I managed to fix it (images next to the slider were the problem not the slider it self), thank God.

    On to the next fix!

    Amar
