lack of locations

    Can’t find Powell River, BC, Canada. Closest I could get was Vancouver. Very pretty graphics but useless without weather location support. Would be great if I still lived in a big city.

    Okay I found a solution to my issue.
    I installed a different weather plugin which on searching for a location took you to the “WOEID” site and I found out Powell River was 9758. Went back, re-installed Alfie weather and put in the correct WOEID number and viola, it works.
    Would give it a couple more stars now. Really nice graphics, still crappy location search.

    Hi,

    Alfie WP Weather is the only weather plugin that provides built-in location search. It does a pretty good job finding the locations. Still, the source where Alfie searches the locations is not ours, so we wouldn’t define it as “crappy”, as it finds pretty much every location on Earth by its WOEID, feature that none of the other weather plugins have.
