That’s not twentyeleven theme – it’s named wellspring (possibly modified version of twentyeleven). You’ll need to deactivate the theme so you can login again. Using FTP (or Cpanel) try renaming the theme’s folder –
wp-content
themes
wellspring.HOLD

Yes, it’s a modified version of the twenty eleven theme. I didn’t build the original blog, but now have to make changes. Earlier this week I was editing the site and removed a section of code from the functions.php file. When I pasted it back in, that’s when I received the error message. And now receive that message when I try to access the admin page.
Please advise…
You’ll need to do the above to regain access to your site.
As to the functions file, do you have a back-up copy of your site?
So you should be able to replace that file using the FTP access – if you don’t have FTP set up, ask your hosting company how to do that.

Thank you for your help. I was able to deactivate the theme and gain access to the admin panel.
However, the functions.php file is still giving me trouble, and unfortunately, I realized that I do not have a backup of that file. If I send you the functions.php file along with the section of code that was removed could you paste it back in the proper spot?
Sorry, we don’t provide that level of support on these forums. I also would not have any idea what’s been modified on your version of the theme. You might compare it to a new copy downloaded here:
