I’ve noticed in my admin widgets panel, there’s an extra available widget called “Links With Style” in the theme I’m using, Theme 200. If I drag it to my sidebar, nothing different happens. What is this, how do I access it/configure it, etc?

    Thanks!

  • Can you refer to the widget/plugin link? A search in google shows no results.

Hmmm, I’m afraid I’m a widget virgin. I can’t find where the code is. My site is Ikenouye.com, and for instance, the link to the style sheet is here. I signed into my hosting control panel and tried to view some of the files through there, like the index.php and header.php, but I’m getting a fatal error. But I don’t get an errors when viewing my site. Is that a problem?

Here’s a link to my widgets.php file, but it’s not located in my theme directory. Is that the problem? I don’t know much about how these widgets work.

Hmmm-getting a fatal error with that link–I don’t know why or what to do. It doesn’t seem to be affecting my site, though. Confused.

I’ve seen that Links with Style widget before. Some themes have it in their functions.php file. Yes, themes can add widgets too. 🙂

Anyway, I’d just ignore it. I know what the purpose of it was, but it’s really no longer needed, the normal links widget evolved to be better than that Links with Style thing.

OK–good to know. I was worried I was missing out on some spectacular, wonderful thing. 🙂
