Format to Change IP address to domain name

    Assuming VB works fine with 3.5.1?….
    I created and have the site using an IP address since the old site is still in operation until tomorrow (13Aug13) when we plan on redirecting the DNS to the new server.
    I’ve loaded the VB plugin, taken a full backup of files and database, and just now looked at the page that updates the URL’s…..
    It has entry for Old URL and New URL…
    would this be the correct format to do this?
    Old URL: http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx
    New URL: http://www.mydomainname.net

    Part of my confusion arises in knowing that usually when you access a web address using IP address you put a trailing slash in http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx/
    Is this format correct? Would appreciate an answer very quickly since the big switch over day is tomorrow… thanks.
