404 errors

I’m not really sure what to think about this plugin. I have tried several different ‘fancybox’ plugins and this is the only one that works. The others have conflicts with other JS or plugins on my site, apparently.

However, this one is causing a lot of 404 errors to be thrown due to what seems like some incorrect file paths to images of shadows that are part of the plugin itself. It seems to only happen with some versions of IE so the 404 errors don’t happen all the time.

I’ve gone searching on the web for a solution and although I see a lot of questions…I’ve yet to find a solid answer. So I’m stumped.

I notice the plugin hasn’t been updated in some time and technically it’s compatibility is in question with several of the most recent updates to WordPress.

So what do I do? Keep using this, knowing that it’s probably not going to be updated and throwing 404 errors? Stop using any fancy box…or continue to look for a fancy box plugin that works. GAH!

I can’t tell you now many times I’ve been down this road. Frustrating.
